Sport Courts

Turf Oasis can design an indoor or outdoor court for pickleball, basketball, tennis, and even hopscotch.

You can add a basketball or pickleball court to your yard if you have enough space and the necessary resources. Here are some things to consider:

  1. Space requirements: Both basketball and pickleball courts require a certain amount of space, depending on the size of the court and the type of surface you are using. A standard basketball court is approximately 50 feet by 84 feet, while a pickleball court is typically 20 feet by 44 feet. You will need to make sure you have enough space in your yard to accommodate the court.

  2. Surface: You will also need to consider the surface of the court. Asphalt and concrete surfaces are durable and long-lasting, but they can be hard on the body and may not be as comfortable to play on as a specialized sports surface. Specialized sports surfaces are made of materials like rubber or polyurethane and are designed to provide a softer, more cushioned playing surface.

  3. Maintenance: You will also need to consider the ongoing maintenance of the court. Asphalt and concrete surfaces will require periodic sealing and resurfacing, while specialized sports surfaces are much simpler to maintain..
