A homeowner called us after he moved from California into his new home in Texas. The
original call was to service a 10 year old putting green that came with the house. After some discussion and seeing the quality of our work, the homeowner decided to go ahead and turf a larger area of his yard and replace the putting green with a larger, higher quality green. After we had installed over 3000’ of turf in the backyard, he wanted to leave some natural grass for his young son to play in.
Six months later he called us back because he found out his child was allergic to the
real grass left In the yard. So we had 10,000 square feet left to design a mixed use
play area. We ended up building a full basketball court, bocce court, playground
area, cornhole area and the rest we installed regular lawn turf. He was very happy and increased the value of his him. Most of the yard was not useable as his child was allergic to the grass and it had very bad drainage and it stayed wet year round.
